Life Groups are small groups of 8-16 adults who meet in homes throughout Greater Portland at various times throughout the week. These groups discuss the Bible and how to apply the Sunday messages.
In Life Groups, we journey together as we follow Jesus. We do this through a rhythm of inflow, overflow, and multiply:
Inflow is all about our relationship with Jesus, so we study the Bible to hear from God and we pray together to commune with God.
Overflow is all about living like Jesus. We enjoy time in community (sharing life together and praying for one another). We also serve together in our neighborhoods.
Multiply is all about making more disciples of Jesus, so we raise up Apprentice Leaders to lead other Life Groups, which allows more people to follow Jesus together.
What to Expect:
Life Groups meet in homes during the week. When you arrive, you can expect to begin the evening with a time to meet and catch up with fellow group members over coffee and snacks. Once everyone arrives, your group will move into a time of Bible study and discussion. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and discover how the Bible applies to your life. Your group will wrap up with a time of prayer. You may find that the relationships you develop during your Life Group become some of your most meaningful friendships.
Interested in connecting in a group?
We strongly encourage everyone at Eastpoint to be involved in a Life Group. If you are interested in more information or have any questions, email Chris Flathers at firstname.lastname@example.org.
